CURRENT ENTRY INFORMATION (as of November 18, 2020)

 

As of 23.11.2020 are or when entering from risk areas - lä change exclusively negative PCR tests accepted. This new regulation currently also affects Germany:

The negative test result must be available prior to entry and must not be more than 72 hours old.

 

 

 

 

 

TEST REQUIRED TO ENTER THE CANARY ISLANDS

 

From November 14, 2020 , all guests over 6 years of age who are not from the Canary Islands must provide a certificate to prove that they have undergone a diagnostic test for an infection with COVID-19 recognized by the health authorities within the last 72 hours and this confirms a negative result.

Both PCR and rapid antigen tests are accepted. This proof is required for access to this and all other tourist accommodation on the islands. It can be presented in digital or paper form , which clearly shows the following points: the date and time, the identity of the person tested, the laboratory responsible for the test, the type of test and the negative result.

As an accommodation company , we deny access to anyone who does not meet the conditions described above. In justified exceptional cases and provided that you are ready to have a diagnostic test carried out on site immediately after your arrival, we allow you to stay in the facility until the result is available. You are not allowed to leave the accommodation during this period.

We ask all of our guests to install the Spanish corona warning app "RADAR COVID" on their mobile phones and for the entire duration of their stay and up to

CANARY GOVERNMENT INSURANCE

 

Since August 5, 2020, the costs for medical treatment, quarantine accommodation and costs for the return flight in the event of COVID-19 disease are insured by the Canarian government. This insurance automatically applies to all incoming tourists who have become infected in the Canary Islands.

 

 

 

 

 

QR CODE ON ARRIVAL

 

A QR code is required prior to entry (no earlier than 48 hours before your departure)   Registration of contact details and whereabouts necessary.

The online form can be filled out and requested via the following link. After entering the data, you will receive a QR code on your mobile phone or on your email. This QR code has to be shown on arrival at the airport in Gran Canaria.
